Didier Artist

His head and his heart have always swung between his artistic and rational side. It is moreover the head that led him to complete a bachelor's degree in business administration marketing profile at HEC in 2009. Until 2019, it is his rational side that motivates his professional decisions while his artistic talents were seen as simple hobbies. From the age of 4, his talent in drawing was noticed. At the age of 12, he received his first drum, on which he began his first uproar. Very quickly and for several years, he became a drummer in a band. Music is one of his greatest passions, and he still cherishes the desire to perform on stage. Like the visual arts, music is an innate talent, which he practices on his own.

It was at the end of 2018 that he realized that he wanted to make more room for his artistic side and actively started drawing again. Quickly, he wants to touch other mediums associated with art and begins to paint. It was therefore in January 2019 that he produced his first canvas and this experience literally became a revelation for him: he needed to create. With a lot of conviction and determination, he decides to leave his job that he has held for several years (only 3 months after the realization of his first canvas) to dedicate himself to his passion full time.

Didier is a Quebec painter recognized for the precision of his art, which is described as surgical. This rising artist creates works of surprising realism of well-known personalities and the world of fashion, drawing inspiration from powerful images that challenge him.

He uses mixed media such as airbrush, acrylic and collage and offers prints on canvas and Arches paper.
